As an elite team, this page will further our processes to become a stronger team in every way. Please feel free to venture

Our club advisor is Mr. Young and we play chess Fridays at the high school during the school year, from
2:30 to 4:10. All are welcome, but please check here for occasional cancellations. Also, check back for tournament announcements
and other information as this site evolves.
Contrary to what casual observers may think, chess is a highly competitive activity, and in some countries
it is actually considered a sport. Our players take the game very seriously and put in a considerable amount of time studying
strategy and tactics and playing practice games.
This season will be a transition year for us. With a new chess coach and the club now getting up on its
feet, we have a tough road ahead this season. We are hoping for the best this year.
